This birthday of mine is really beyond my imagination... it's filled with lots of love and thoughts. Initially i was feeling really disappointed, but things really turned out differently. I realized different ones show their love differently n i have to look at things with perspective... I'm thankful for all of YOU! Really thank God for all the friends i have... :)
2nd Jan 1988, The day that i was born. It's been 21 years since that day. I still remember when i was 12, the day when i was dignosed with leukemia, i thought i wouldn't live to see myself celebrate my 21st birthday. Throughout the years, i've seen how God has been caring for me n loving me by providing so many things that i need in life. One of this many things is friends.
Last year, i didn't really get to celebrate my birthday, mainly bcos i was away in Japan n came back only on the 3rd of Jan. I know it was very childish of me, but i felt even though it's belated, i still hope someone can celebrate with me properly. To me a birthday cake is very important, bcos u don't get to do that everyday, just once a year. So when i didn't get a cake last year i kinda grew bitter... (SORRY I KNOW IT'S CHILDISH)
This year when ppl around me asked what i wanted for birthday, i told them simply, i don't need expensive gifts of whatever, just a birthday cake n lots of ppl to celebrate with. When my bro told me "i'm sorry it's out of my comfort zone to do that for u" frankly speaking, my heart sank when i heard that... But then, my JJFC friends heard about this, they gave me a suprise birthday on the 25th Dec when we had steamboat together to celebrate christmas. Though it was simple, but i totally felt so so loved... Here's some pic first...
Than, I thought that was it... but my cg n my bro actually planned a birthday surprise for me. Although along the way i was told, but in the end i was still VERY happy. :) I don't know how, but they did manage to get alot of ppl to celebrate for me. So my wish was fufilled... Thanks for all who came. Pics i think my bro will upload soon on face book...
